RULES OF PLAY

1998-2003 Size 5

2004-2005 Size 4

2006-2007 Size 3

NUMBER OF PLAYERS

A match is played by two teams, each consisting of not more than 5 players, one of whom is the goalkeeper. A match may not start if either team consists of fewer than 4 players. The MAXIMUM number of players on a team's roster may not exceed 8.

SUBSTITUTIONS

During the game both teams can roll their substitutions. All players that are not playing (the substitutes) must remain on the side of the field and if a substitute is called the substituted player must step OFF of the field into the team box PRIOR to the new player stepping onto the field. PLAY WILL NOT STOP and these rotations are allowed to continue throughout the game.

PLAYERS EQUIPMENT

Conform to FIFA. Non-uniform clothing is allowed based on weather conditions, but uniforms must still distinquish teams.

Designated HOME teams will wear club COLOR uniforms. Designated AWAY teams will wear club WHITE uniforms.

REFEREE

Each game will consist of one Registered Referee.

FOULS AND MISCONDUCT

Confirm to FIFA with the exception that there are no direct kicks.

A RED cards will be shown to a player who has committed a serious offence such as violent conduct, or an illegal and purposeful obstruction of a goal scoring opportunity for the opposing team.  A RED card will also be shown to a player who accumulates two YELLOW cards for more minor offenses.  A player receiving a RED card will be ejected from the current game, must leave the sideline, and his/her team will continue the current game short handed.  A player receiving a RED card is also not allowed to play the next game but the team is not required to play short handed.

MATCH DURATIONS

Match will be divided into two (2) halves of twenty (20) minutes each. There shall be a half-time interval of five (5) minutes.

METHOD OF SCORING

Conform to FIFA.

OFFSIDE

No Offside.

FREE KICKS

Conform to FIFA with the exception that opponents are at least six (6) yards from the ball.

PENALTY KICKS

Conform to FIFA with the exception that the penalty mark is eight (8) yards and that players other than the kicker and defending goalkeeper are at least six (6) yards from the penalty mark.

THROW/KICK INS

Only kick Ins will be allowed and all opponent players must remain five (5) yards away from the placement of the ball for the Kick In until the ball is back in play.

CORNER KICK

Conform to FIFA with the exception that opponents remain at least eight (8) yards away from the ball until it is in play.

THE GOALKEEPER

The goalie can only roll, throw, or pass out along the ground.  Punts or drop kicks are not allowed and a goalkeeper may not score from a throw.  If the ball is sent out of bounds over the end line by the opposing team, the goal keeper will pick up the ball and bring it to the goal area and then resume play with either a roll, throw, or pass along the ground.

KICKOFF

The kickoff can be executed in any direction.

A goal can be scored on the kickoff.
